Nature Photography

Welcome to Closer Views!

Opps! This is an older page that you got directed to from my blog page (sorry, but I can't change it). Please click on one of the other tabs above or one the links in the text below the image to get back to my live page. Thank you!
Cecropia caterpillar
Cecropia moth (Hyalophora cecropia) caterpillars, in their second and third instar phases, sharing a lilac leaf.
These two caterpillars show the second and third (of four) instar phases of the Cecropia Moth (Hyalophora cecropia). They are two out of about 100 I raised one summer from the eggs of one Cecropia moth.

Take a few moments to relax and browse my Image Library, where my images may be licensed for commercial use, or may be printed on paper, or many other fun products like puzzles, magnets and t-shirts!

Explore my Photo Cards offerings, where many of my images are available as blank photo cards that I print for you once you order them (you can usually expect them within a week of your order).

Visit my Blog for stories behind the images, what inspires me, and photo projects I'm working on.

I appreciate your comments; feel free to like and share!

Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore.

There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf.
